Funded Childcare

Find out about how the 30 hours free childcare works...

What is Funded Child Care?

On your child’s third birthday, they will automatically become eligible for fifteen hours funded child care. This funded care will apply one full term after they turn three.

Flexible Extended Hours

Bizzkidz Nursery in Ashford, Surrey, also provides a more flexible option of “plus 15 extended hours”.

Working parents of 3 and 4 year olds in England may be entitled to up to 30 hours of free childcare, for 38 weeks of the year (or fewer hours over more weeks). This is an additional 15 hours of free childcare on top of the 15 hours universal entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds in England.

If you are not eligible for a + 15 hours place then you can, of course, extend your hours above the universal 15 hours offer and pay our hourly rate for additional hours.

Please check to see whether you are eligible.
